Jennifer Jean (Poetry) | Boston, MA

Jennifer Jean is co-director of the Morning Garden Artist Retreats. She is the author of a full-length poetry collection, The Fool (Big Table); and, of several poetry chapbooks including: The Archivist and In the War. Her poetry has appeared in: Rattle, Denver Quarterly, Waxwing, Caketrain, Tidal Basin Review, Mud City Journal, North Dakota Quarterly, and more. Her prose has appeared in Drunken Boat and Solstice Magazine. She is Poetry Editor of The Mom Egg Review, Associate Poetry Editor of The Compassion Anthology, and Managing Editor of Talking Writing Magazine. Jennifer teaches Free2Write poetry workshops to sex-trafficking survivors, and her poetry manuscript, Object—which is about this experience and about objectification in America—was a finalist for the Green Mountains Review Book Prize in 2016.
